Zone Information

People who live, work, visit and go to school within the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone (EPZ) will be notified by sirens, tonealert receivers and/or information broadcasts on radio or television. The Coast Guard and state officials will alert boaters and traffic on the Mississippi River.

If your area must be evacuated, you will be told by radio, television or directly by an authorized person.

You will be asked to leave the area ONLY if it is necessary for your safety. There should be enough time for orderly actions.
